Jonas Stampe

Jonas Stampe is the curator of Infr'Action  - Festival International d'Art Performance. He is preparing a Ph.D. in contemporary art history at the University of Lund, Sweden. Beside his research on European and American post-war art, he has conducted studies in art theory at l'École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris under the direction of Hubert Damisch.
Although being an academic at heart, Jonas has been working as a freelance art critic for Nordic newspapers and art magazines for 20 years. He has published more than two hundreds articles since 1987 from the international contemporary art scene.

Jonas has also an experience as the initiator, project manager and curator of the major Nordic contemporary art biennial, Ideologia I & II, which was organised in  Gothenburg, Sweden in 2001 and 2003.
