In the framework of this years 5th edition Infr'Action proposes a workshop for anybody who wishes to discover or deepend an avant-garde artistic practice. This workshop will be directed by the Mexican artist Elvira Santamaria, member of the performance art collective Black Market International.  It will take place at la Chapelle du Quartier Haut, rue Borne, in Sète on September 14 and 15, from 10-12 am and 2-6 pm.

Elvira Santamaria (Mexico) is born in 1967. Her work focus on the process of artistic invervention. Since 1991, she has presented her work in public spaces, museums, galleries and theatres around the world, including Mexico, Canada, the Carribean, the United States, Europe and in Asia. She is member of Black Market International since 2000. In 2001, she initiated and organised the event "acciones en ruta (actions on the road), in 2002 she organised and coordinated les "Encounters in performance art Mexico-Japan". Elvira Santamaria is the founder of the international performance art festival of Yucatan.
