We are very pleased to present an invigorating program for this ninth edition of Infr'Action. Infr'Action continues to develop and explore, as well as to renew its artistic program in performance art. Yes it is possible. This year Infr'Action will showcase artists from Ireland, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Iraq, Norway, Sweden, China, Germany, Hungary, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and of course France.
All artists in this ninth edition are new to Infr’Action , except one, the legendary Nigel Rolfe, professor at the Royal College of Art in London. Last year he created a breath taking work at the quai Général Durand, projecting Jean Baudrillard quotes on one of the trawlers while realizing an unforgettable action. It was so amazing we just had to ask him again, and he accepted with pleasure.
He is of course, not the only one who should be mentioned. In fact all artists who have accepted our invitation are on the level which everyone should expect from Infr'Action, for you to discover and appreciate.
On your right you can explore the program and its artists for this ninth edition. There will be thunder, there will be rain. But in Sète, this week in september, there will be sunshine. In every way.
